I've placed a mid afternoon snack in my plan as I felt my insulin levels were low around 2/3 o'clock..when your insulin levels drop your more prone to snacking on sugary food to boost your levels back up, this is where most people fail on food plans so by putting in a snack (preemptive eating) and keeping my insulin levels at a steady state I reduce my need for a quick fix.
